MOMMY is pleased to announce the opening of TO SELVES: Joy Episalla and Susan Silas at momenta art located at 56 Bogart Street in Bushwick, New York on Friday, 7 March from 7pm-9pm. A book titled TO SELVES; Joy Episalla and Susan Silas will accompany this exhibition and momenta art will host a panel discussion and book launch on Sunday, 16 March at 3 p.m. Panelists will include: artist Judith Braun, Brooklyn-based transmedia artist Carla Gannis, curator Risa Puleo and photographer Marcia Salo.

MOMMY is pleased to announce the inclusion of an image from Susan Silas’s portfolio eyes wide shut in the book Nature Morte, edited by Michael Petry and published by Thames & Hudson. The book is composed of images from over 180 international artists reimagining the still life. Michael Petry has structured the book according to the classic categories of the still life tradition: Flora, Food, House and Home, Fauna and Death. The book is available for purchase on the Thames & Hudson website.

MOMMY is delighted that the  Rose Mandala Mirror (of Three Reflections) and The Sadhus: The Aura Project by Chrysanne Stathacos will be included in The Temptation of AA Bronson at the Witte de With, Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam, with a performance by Stathacos at the opening on September 5th from 2- 6 pm.
